Hematology/Oncology NP/PA – Coastal Northern California | Flexible Scheduling + Outpatient Oncology

Looking for your next oncology assignment along the beautiful Northern California coast? An outpatient oncology clinic in Eureka, CA is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for locum tenens coverage beginning in December.

The team is seeking providers with recent hospital-based oncology experience who can meet the clinical activity requirements for hospital privileges. Temporary privileges may be available for qualified providers with clean credentialing histories.

Start Date: 12/1/2026 (January starts may be considered depending on credentialing)
Contract Length: 13 weeks initially, with ongoing coverage needs
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• One-hour unpaid lunch
• Full-time coverage preferred
• Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month considered
• No nights, weekends, or call

Practice Setting:
• Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic
• Hospital-affiliated oncology practice
• Connected to a chemotherapy treatment center
Patients per Day: 12–14
EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Active California license required
• Two years of current hospital-based clinical activity in the specialty required for privileging
• Must provide two years of inpatient case logs

Credentialing Timeframe:
• Standard credentialing: Approximately 60 days
• Temporary privileges may be available for providers with clean files to support a December start
• January start dates may be considered if temporary privileges are unavailable
