Physicist Radiation Oncologist Needed in San Francisco, CA

Location: San Francisco, California
Start: April/May
13-week assignment
No privileging needed, can start ASAP within 3 weeks

Required:
American board of Radiology (ABR) cert in diagnostic or therapeutic medical physics.
Eligible to be authorized as a Calibration Physicist with the State of California.
Exp in a clinical radiation oncology department that includes machine troubleshooting, providing clinical presence for linac-based radiation therapy patients, weekly and final chart checks, plan checks for external beam plans, working knowledge of linac QA, experience working with service engineers for machine issues, excellent communication, and experience working in a clinical practice with a mix of patients including in-patient palliative patients.
Min 2 Years exp.
Masters Degree in an applied science, medical physics training in radiation oncology program.
Preferred:
Exp with Truebeam linear accelerators, RayStation treatment planning system, Aria Oncology Information System, MIM.
5 Years exp
PhD, Cert from ABR required
ACRT accreditation exp.
