This medical center features a comprehensive outpatient chemotherapy and infusion center with dedicated oncology and hematology services. The facility provides robust support with specialized nursing staff and advanced EMR systems, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow management.

Physician - Oncology

Job Details:
• Serve as Medical Hematologist/Oncologist in outpatient chemotherapy and infusion center
• Function as solo provider with midlevel support for patient flow and orders
• Handle all aspects of diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of hematology/oncology patients
• Provide MD oversight for both oncology/hematology clinic and infusion services
• Must be onsite for all infusion treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood/platelet transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotic therapy, rheumatoid arthritis injections, and therapeutic phlebotomies
• Manage 15-20 patients per day covering all tumor types
• Perform hospital consults with call responsibilities
• Collaborate directly with ER physicians or hospitalists for admissions
• Work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule
• Utilize iKnowmed EMR for clinic and Cerner for infusion services
• Board certification or eligibility in hematology and oncology required
• Active California medical license and DEA registration required
• Fellowship training required
• ACLS certification required if requesting moderate sedation privileges
• Self-Query NPDB report mandatory within 30 days of presentation
• Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
