Medical Oncologist Needed in Florida | M-F, 8a-5p - Flexible Schedule + Some Call | Competitive Pay

• What is the typical schedule? M-F 8-5 OP
• Shift times: see above
• Call involved? – limited, maybe 1 every 6
• Number of patients per shift: in the OP setting, the physician will see up to 3 new patients per day and up to 8 established
• Does the physician have to be present for Chemo or just on site? Just on site

JOB INFORMATION:
• Vaccination Requirement (Y/N): as required per CC guidelines
• Specialty Requested: general medical oncologist, but majority of patients will most likely be breast
• Reason for Coverage: one physician is exciting and need to back fill business, 5 other physicians on site, but 3 are new out of fellowship
• Dates of Coverage: 11/30 – 3/31/27 with option to extend!
Practice Description:
o Setting (IP/OP): OP, may be some call involved
o Daily Responsibilities: see patients, notes, typical OP duties. No tumor board or similar requirements
o Shifts/Schedule Expectations (ex. Monday – Friday, 8a-5p etc.): M-F 8-5p
o Call Schedule/Responsibilities (Define Schedule, Time To Return, Average # of Calls etc.): light, maybe 1:6 worst case
o PPD/Census: 3 new and 8 established max for standard template
o Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: 5 physicians, 6 APPs, and adequate support staff (nursing, dietician, navigator, clerical, etc.)
o Procedures Required/Preferred: chemo and immunotherapy
o EMR: Aria, Beacon module
