Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
- Locum Tenens coverage needed while community provider is out on leave
- Anticipated schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- On-site provider required; remote coverage is not available
- 15 patient encounters per shift
- No treatment planning will be needed
- Active Kentucky medical license required; IMLC not accepted due to short turnaround time
- Board certification required; ACLS certification required
- External Beam Therapy (EBRT) skills required, including Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons, Tomotherapy, and Superficial/Orthovoltage
- Required techniques include Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, IORT, Total Body Irradiation, Total Skin Electrons, and Hyper Altered Fractionation
- Treatment planning skills required, including Conventional Treatment Planning, Beam Shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, and Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI)
- Nearest airport is Lexington; lodging available at Hilton
- Vendors are responsible for obtaining and submitting all necessary pre-hire requirements including a completed background check and drug screen
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
