This well-established medical center provides comprehensive cancer care services through a dedicated hospital outpatient clinic setting. The facility features state-of-the-art radiation oncology equipment and maintains strong collaboration with on-site medical oncology services to ensure coordinated patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:
• Provide coverage from August 22 - August 31st for vacation coverage
• Work Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM schedule with emergency call responsibilities
• Supervise outpatient radiation treatments in hospital clinic setting
• Conduct new patient consultations and participate in Physician Peer Review
• Utilize advanced equipment including Varian Truebeam Edge and Vitalbeam systems
• Work with Eclipse treatment planning system and Mosaic EMR
• Perform External Beam Therapy including Linear Accelerator treatments
• Execute Rapid Arc/VMAT and electron treatments as required
• Provide Conventional/Conformal Therapy and Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
• Deliver Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
• Conduct conventional treatment planning, beam shaping (MLC), and 3D CRT
• Perform PET CT or MRI Image Fusion and Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI)
• Board certification required with BLS certification
• Credentialing timeframe of 45-60 days
• Brachytherapy experience preferred including intracavitary, interstitial, and vascular procedures
• Stereotactic radiosurgery experience preferred including Cyber knife and Gamma knife

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
