This well-established healthcare system is a fully accredited cancer care facility holding ACR, ACoS, HFAP, NSABP, and QOPI certifications, reflecting its commitment to exceptional oncology care. The facility operates a completely paperless and filmless environment utilizing EPIC and ARIA RO EMR systems, and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including Varian TrueBeam, Varian Trilogy, and Elekta-Nucletron HDR units, supported by a robust multidisciplinary team including physicists, nurse navigators, in-house pharmacy, palliative care, and financial counseling services.

Job Details:

  • Locum Tenens opportunity beginning 8/24/2026 on an ongoing basis
  • 4 clinical days per week, Monday through Thursday, with 8-hour clinical shifts and no call required
  • Schedule may be adjusted to Tuesday through Friday or expanded to five days if covering for permanent staff absence, maintaining eight working days per pay period
  • 7-10 patients per day depending on new, follow-up, add-on, and urgent visits; one day per week reserved for On Treatment Visits (OTV)
  • Patient encounters per shift: 7-12 follow-up and 12-15 active treatment
  • Perform brachytherapy including intracavitary procedures (e.g., Mammosite)
  • Administer External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT) using linear accelerator with RapidArc/VMAT and electrons
  • Utilize advanced techniques including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and conventional/conformal therapy
  • Conduct treatment planning including 3D CRT, IMRT, beam shaping (MLC), PET CT or MRI image fusion, and electronic portal imaging
  • Participate in clinical trials as required
  • Must hold an active Ohio medical license or IMLC
  • Board certification required; estimated credentialing timeframe of 20 days
  • Required certifications include ABLS and BLS
  • Nearest airport: CMH (Columbus)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
