Oregon Hematology/Oncology Locums - Flexible 3-4 Day Week, No Call

Job description

Aya Locums is working with an Oregon Hematology/Oncology program looking for ongoing outpatient coverage beginning in December.

The need is for three to four clinic days per week, four weeks per month. Tuesday through Friday is preferred, but there is flexibility around which days are worked. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an alternate 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM schedule potentially available. There is no call.

The practice averages approximately 10 patients per shift and is integrated with an infusion center. The physician will join an experienced clinical team with NP and RN support, onsite social work, dietician services, palliative care, an Oncology Nurse Navigator and a dedicated nurse manager. The clinic includes nine infusion chairs and four exam rooms.

Epic is used for the EMR. Bone marrow biopsy experience is preferred but is not listed as a hard requirement.

Board certification is required, along with BLS and DEA. If Oregon licensing is the only obstacle, I still want to hear from you. I am willing to help pursue an Oregon license for the right Hem/Onc physician rather than eliminate a strong fit over licensing alone.
