This facility is a well-established healthcare center featuring a free-standing cancer center with comprehensive oncology and hematology services. The center is part of a larger healthcare network that provides quality patient care in the Greenville area, offering both inpatient and outpatient oncology services.

Physician - Oncology

Job Details:
• Coverage needed due to loss of provider • Practice consists of 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology • Work with 7 physicians and 6 APPs in a collaborative environment • Average of 25 outpatient visits per day • Approximately 20 inpatient hospital visits per day when on call • No call during locum period; permanent placement would involve call schedule of 1 week every 6-8 weeks • Patient population: Adult and Geriatric • Clinical responsibilities include both outpatient and inpatient oncology settings • Required duties include participation on Tumor Board, management of bone marrow transplants, blood bank responsibilities • Will order tests, imaging studies, and prescribe medications • Nursing staff administers chemotherapy • Documentation system: EPIC • Board Certification in Hematology Oncology required • Active SC license required (will accept providers needing to obtain a state license) • BLS and DEA certification required • Clean background check and current NPDB required • Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days • Facility provides reimbursement for flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rate

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
