Wisconsin Medical Oncology Locums - Four-Day Week + Ongoing Coverage

Job description

Aya Locums is working with a Wisconsin Medical Oncology/Hematology program looking for ongoing physician coverage beginning in late November.

The core schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with additional Friday clinic coverage potentially available for a physician who wants it. The current assignment is expected to run through early March, with the focus on providing consistent coverage across the outpatient Oncology/Hematology clinic and infusion program.

The clinical work includes general Medical Oncology and Hematology, oversight of infusion services, management of treatment-related reactions and side effects, and inpatient Oncology consultations when needed. Call is part of the coverage, but responsibilities are limited to the local program rather than a broader regional service.

The physician will have support from an APP onsite Tuesday through Thursday, approximately 4-5 infusion RNs, a medical assistant and phlebotomy support. The practice uses Epic with Beacon for treatment and therapy plans.

Board certification in Medical Oncology/Hematology is required. If Wisconsin is a fit but licensing is the obstacle, I still want to hear from you. I can work with IMLC physicians and am open to pursuing Wisconsin licensure for the right Hem/Onc physician.
