Opportunity Overview – Neonatology Locums
Location: Augusta, GA
Duration: ASAP – Ongoing
Schedule: Estimated 7–14 shifts per month (flexible, potential for more)
Shift: 6:30 AM–6:30 PM or 6:30 PM–6:30 AM (12-hour shifts); 24-hour shifts also available
Call: None
Patient Volume: 8–12 patients per provider per shift; NICU census ~40; average 3 new admissions/day
Scope: Level IV NICU, managing 8–12 neonatal patients per shift. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of APPs, RNs, Neonatal-Perinatal Fellows, Physicians, Pharmacy, and Nutrition. Focus on high-acuity neonatal critical care
Hospital: 520-bed Level I facility, Level IV NICU
Group/Support: APP/RN/Neonatal Perinatal Fellows/Physicians/Pharmacy/Nutrition
EMR: Epic

Requirements
Active Georgia license required
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
No active sanctions or disciplinary history
