📋 Contract Details
🔹 Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
🔹 Contract Length: 26 weeks with option to extend
🔹 Schedule: Scheduled coverage with no call
🔹 Shift Options: 12-hour and 24-hour shifts, including 7:00 PM night shifts
🔹 Minimum Commitment: 6-8 shifts per month through January 2027
🔹 Employment Type: 1099 Locum Tenens
🔹 Credentialing Timeframe: Up to 60 days

🏥 Site Details & Clinical Scope
🔹 Acute care hospital
🔹 Level III NICU
🔹 Average daily census of approximately 10 patients
🔹 Patient population: Neonates
🔹 Care for neonates from 23 weeks gestation through term
🔹 Daily multidisciplinary rounds with Neonatologists, NNPs, NICU Fellows, Residents, and Social Workers
🔹 Responsibilities include daily assessments, documentation, TPN and feeding calculations, and comprehensive neonatal management
🔹 Procedures include intubation, UAC/UVC/PICC line placement, lumbar punctures, pleural air removal, and arterial sticks
🔹 Therapeutic hypothermia program for HIE patients
🔹 Cerner EMR preferred

📋 Candidate Requirements
🔹 Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
🔹 Active West Virginia license required (no licensing available)
🔹 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification required
🔹 NRP certification required
🔹 CP certification required
🔹 Minimum 3-5 years of Neonatology experience
🔹 Experience performing advanced neonatal procedures including intubation, line placement, lumbar punctures, and pleural air removal
