Neonatal Nurse Practitioner – Level II NICU Coverage in AZ

Job description

A Neonatal Nurse Practitioner is needed to provide inpatient coverage for a Level II NICU. This assignment runs from ASAP through December 21, 2025, offering consistent shift-based scheduling with no call responsibilities. Providers will manage approximately 4–5 NICU patients per shift in a collaborative hospital environment.

The facility utilizes Cerner EMR and has 33 beds in the department. Qualified candidates must hold an active Arizona license, be board certified, and possess PALS certification. Fellowship training is preferred.

Credentialing is estimated at 60 days, with temporary privileges available to expedite the start date. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NNP seeking a stable, rewarding locum assignment in a supportive neonatal care setting.
