Neonatology Nurse Practitioner Needed in California
-Start Date: May 2026
-Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
-Schedule: 4-6 shifts per month
-Nights, 5:30p-6:00a
-Work Details:
-Department description: the NNP will not be caring for ECMO pts but must have all other NICU procedures for credentialing. Level IV NICU intensive care unit. Care for extremely low birth weight infants, infants with birth trauma, asphyxia and infants with urgent surgical need.
-Special procedures: Neonatal resuscitation, intubation, surfactant administration, line placement – UAC, UVC, PAL, PICC placement, Needle thoracentesis, chest tuber insertion, lumbar puncture, exchange transfusion.
-Practice Setting:
Academic/Training
-Requirements:
Board Certification: Yes. PALS, NRP, BLA – must be AHA certs.
Minimum experience required: At Least 2 years’ experience.

-Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
-Active CA License Required
