Neonatology Nurse Practitioner Needed in California
Start Date: April 2026
Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend
Schedule: Shift Details: 4-5 shifts per month. 12 hour shifts
Schedule: Nights, 5:30p-6:00a
Work Details:
Department description: the NNP will not be caring for ECMO pts, but must have all other NICU procedures for credentialing. Level IV NICU intensive care unit. Care for extremely low birth weight infants, infants with birth trauam, asphxia and ifants with urgent surgical need.
Special procedures: Neonatial resuscitation, intubation, surfactant adminstration, line placement – UAC, UVC, PAL, PICC placement, Needle thoracentisis, chest tuber insertion, lumbar puncture, exchange transfusion.

Academic/Training
Requirements:
Board Certification: Yes. PALS , BLS – must be AHA certs. NRP certification is required.
Minimum experience required: At Least 2 years experience.

Credentialing Timeframe:30-45 days
Active CA License Required
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
