Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Locums Opportunity – California

Job description

Highlights:
• Work in both Level III and Level IV NICU settings

Opportunity Details

Location: Central California (Madera/Fresno Region)

Schedule:
• Level IV NICU: 16-hour night shifts (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Level III NICU: 12-hour day shifts
• Approximately 18 shifts per month needed across both campuses
• Multiple providers may be utilized to meet coverage needs

Practice Details:
• Level III and Level IV NICUs
• Independent management of high-acuity neonatal patients
• Advanced neonatal procedures and resuscitation
• Collaborative neonatal care environment

Requirements:
• Must be a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (PAs cannot be considered)
• Active California License Required
• Minimum 1 year of high-acuity Level III NICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience preferred
• Experience managing micro-preemies (<28 weeks gestation)
• Delivery room experience required
• Intubation certification and recent procedural experience required
• Needle decompression and chest tube experience required
• Umbilical arterial and venous line placement experience required
• Ability to independently manage high-acuity neonatal patients
• No local providers within 100 miles
• Name clear process required prior to presentation

Credentialing:
• Approximately 60 days
