🔹 Permanent Neonatal NNP / NICU-Trained PA | Level III NICU | Brooksville, FL 🔹
Position Type: Permanent – Neonatal Intensive Care
Shift Length: Primarily 16-hour shifts (24-hour shifts may be introduced)
Weekends: Varies based on schedule
On Call: None
Unit Size: 20 beds | Average Daily Census: 12–20
Annual Deliveries: ~1,600
Support: On-site Neonatologist, MFM support, pediatric subspecialties
💼 PRACTICE OVERVIEW
Join a growing neonatal care team in a Level III NICU
Provide hands-on neonatal care; candidates must have current NICU experience beyond training
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including Neonatology and Pediatric Subspecialties
✅ CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
Master’s degree or higher – Required
Board Certified APRN, NNP specialty only (FNP, PNP not accepted)
Minimum 2+ years current NICU experience (RN or training experience not sufficient)
Florida license (or willingness to obtain)
Physician Assistant (PA)
Master’s degree – Required
NCCPA Board Certified
Minimum 2+ years current NICU experience (training experience not sufficient)
Neonatal PA training program – Highly Preferred
Florida license (or willingness to obtain)
Other Requirements:
Clean malpractice and licensing history – Highly Preferred
NPDB Self-Query within 30 days – Required
DEA must be obtained prior to start
