Job description

An established hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, that has an opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:

Schedule: day shifts or night shifts,
No call requirement
Must have Level IV experience
Setting: NICU
Patient Volume: 10 per shift
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses: Full Travel
Description

13-hour shifts
5 daytime providers needed 7a-8p
1 night provider needed 7p-8a
Case Load p/Day:, MD Day: 16-24, APP: 8-12 patients
Total Bed Count: 87 Beds
Required Procedures and Acuity Level: Level IV NICU with routine procedures that are a part of training of any credentialed Neonatologist (including delivery room stabilization).
Coverage Model: Day Coverage: 1 Attending is paired with 2 APPs, for coverage on 25 bed units. 1 Attending and 1 APP on 12 bed unit. Night Coverage: 1 APP per unit with oversight by 1 overnight Neo.
