This inpatient facility operates an 11-bed Level II NICU providing care primarily for newborns delivered on-site, with a delivery volume of approximately 1,800 to 1,900 per year. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate staffing models, including 2 physicians and 2 NNPs, to support quality neonatal patient outcomes. The physician covers 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily, with NNP coverage from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide neonatal-perinatal medicine care through 16-hour night shifts from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM on an inpatient, on-site basis at a Level II NICU in Florida, operating on a one-week-on, one-week-off schedule. Responsibilities include attendance at all C-sections and all pre-term deliveries at 34 weeks gestation and less. The average daily census is approximately 6 neonatal patients. Board certification is required, and no call responsibilities are associated with this position.
