Call Details: Beeper - 15 minute response - 2 Phone Consults, 1 Admission
Schedule: 6am - 6pm onsite, 6pm - 6am on call.
Procedures: Intubation, Chest tube placement, Placement of central lines, Paracentesis, Spinal taps, exchange transfusion, thermal cooling, ventilator management including oscillators and iNO.

Description of the NICU environment: Level 3
• NICU has existed here since the early 70s; RN staff are very knowledgeable and have strong clinical skills and work great together as a team. RT is also an integral team member supporting conventional ventilators, oscillators, iNO, CPAP, hiflo cannulas

• Diagnostics: Full equipment, MRI, CT, EEG
Ancillary services or physician specialists available to support Neonatologist:
• General pediatrics, Pediatric Neurology, Infectious disease, contracts for consultation with University of Michigan Cardiology and Ophthalmology
