SCHEDULE

Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Weekend coverage required

Approximately 10–12 patients per APP per day

POSITION DETAILS

Provide care in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Neonatal experience required

Delivery room attendance

Neonatal resuscitation

PICC line placement

Umbilical line placement

Needle aspiration

Chest tube placement

APP will work under physician supervision

Supervising physician will be present during the assignment

New graduates will not be considered

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner

Active Michigan license — must be active at time of name clearance

Current NRP Advanced Provider or Instructor status

Neonatal experience required

Self-Query NPDB report pulled within the month — required at presentation

CREDENTIALING

Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 120+ days.

COMPENSATION

Rates should include:

Hourly rate

Malpractice rate

Orientation: ½ of hourly rate

Holiday hourly rate: 1.5×

Overtime rate

Overtime holiday rate

TRAVEL

Hotel

Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
