Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Contract – 3 Months)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a leading neonatal team providing advanced care for high-risk newborns. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Neonatologists to manage the medical needs of critically ill infants, utilizing your specialized expertise to ensure optimal outcomes.
This contract opportunity involves working in a comprehensive neonatal program that includes Level IV, III, and II NICU and step-down care units, providing a full spectrum of neonatal services. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with 24/7 neonatologist support and a dedicated neonatal transport team.
Assignment Details
Contract Length: 3 months (with potential to extend)
Schedule: 5-10 shifts a month
Shift Details: 24,14,12- hr shifts
Setting: Level IV / III / II NICU and step-down units
Patient Volume: High acuity neonatal population
Collaborative Team: Neonatologists, APPs, nurses, and support staff
License & Certification Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licenses in Minnesota
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) certification (NCC)
BLS and NRP certifications (required)
2+ years Level III/IV NICU experience preferred
