Locums Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) – Minneapolis/St. Paul/Mercy Hospital

Job description

We’re seeking experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) to provide locum tenens coverage across several hospital systems in the Twin Cities area. This position requires flexibility to float between locations and handle a wide range of neonatal acuity levels.

Facility Details:
Location 1;
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – 44-bed Level IV
Infant Care Center – 41-bed Level II–III
Special Care Nursery – 33-bed Level II
High Risk Delivery Attendance

Location 2;
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – 62-bed Level III
High Risk Delivery Attendance
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – 16-bed Level II

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of NNP experience in a Level III setting

Ability to meet NANN minimum procedural requirements

Completion of an accredited NNP program

NCC certification (or eligibility)

NRP certification and current BLS required

EMR: Cerner

Schedule:

5–10 shifts per month

Coverage begins January

• Float between multiple Level II–IV NICUs (Minneapolis, St. Paul, Mercy)
• 5–10 shifts/month starting January 2026
• Must have Level 3–4 NICU experience
