Job description

Start Date: March 2026
Contract Length: Ongoing
Coverage: 5–10 shifts per month
Schedule Type: Scheduled shifts only; no call
Shift Options:

Site A: 12-hour NICU shifts

Site B: 10-hour day shifts and 14-hour night shifts

All Sites: 24-hour shifts available (no guaranteed downtime)
EMR: Cerner
Float Requirement: Must be able to rotate between multiple metro-area facilities.

Unit Descriptions
Site A

Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – 44 beds

Level II–III Infant Care Center – 41 beds

Level II Special Care Nursery – 33 beds

High-risk delivery attendance

Site B

Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – 62 beds

High-risk delivery attendance

Site C

Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – 16 beds

Call Rooms: Available

Qualifications

Experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners

Minimum 2 years of Level III experience

Able to meet NANN minimum procedural requirements

Graduate of an accredited NNP program

NCC certified (or eligible)

NRP certification

Current BLS

Board Certified

Active Minnesota license and DEA

Facility is willing to license qualified candidates
