Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6–12 months
Schedule: Minimum 8 shifts/month | 12-hour shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a)

Opportunity Highlights:
Practice Setting: Hospital – Level II Trauma Center in Omaha

NICU Level: III or IV experience strongly preferred

Caseload:

Day Shift: 8–12 patients

Night Shift: 14–20 patients

Average Daily Census: Increased from 32.7 to 40.3 over the last 2 years

Patient Population: Critically complex neonates

Core Responsibilities:
High-acuity neonatal care in a fast-paced environment

Delivery room attendance and management

Neonatal transport (Ground and Air) as part of department rotation

Requirements:
Board Certification: NNP-BC

Licensure: Active Nebraska license (or willingness to obtain – client will license)

Certifications: NRP (required upon hire and maintained by candidate), PALS

Experience:

Minimum 1–2 years in a Level III or IV NICU as a provider

Neonatal delivery and transport experience required
