We are seeking a Locum Tenens NP/PA - Neonatology in New York.

Position Type:

Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 12- and 24-hour shifts; 7 days on/7 days off for long-term full-time coverage
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
End Date: Ongoing

Position Details:
Patient Population: Neonates
Setting: Level III NICU, inpatient, and well-baby nursery
Responsibilities: Provide independent neonatal care; attend C-sections; cover Level I nursery at night; supervise RNs and ancillary staff; manage 8–9 patients per shift.
Required Procedures: Ventilation management, invasive ETT, non-invasive BiPAP/CPAP, chest tube insertion, exchange transfusions, UAC/UVC placement, LPs, central and arterial line insertion, diagnostic/therapeutic taps
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: 3 neonatologists, 6+ mid-levels, NICU RNs, and ancillary staff
Days Per Month: 7 on/7 off
On-Call/Weekends: Yes

Submission Requirements:
Active NY License – required
Board Certified (Neonatology or experienced NICU PA) – required
Must be comfortable managing patients independently – required
