📅 Assignment Details
Schedule: 3 shifts/week (full-time)
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts (days/nights rotating)
Max 5 shifts in a row
Block scheduling available (flexibility preferred)
🏥 Practice Setting
Setting: Level III NICU
Beds: 17
Annual Deliveries: ~1700
Average Census: 14
🩺 Work Details
Typically 1 APP per shift
Independent/solo coverage

Support Structure:

Physician on call from home
Clinical leader support onsite (Mon–Fri)
Additional APP support at nearby sites

Responsibilities Include:

NICU patient management
Delivery room coverage
Procedures and critical care support
Documentation and care coordination
🧠 Clinical Scope
Neonatal critical care
High-acuity NICU patients

Required Skills:
Delivery room experience
Intubations
Umbilical lines
Needle thoracentesis
Lumbar puncture
High-frequency ventilation

Preferred Skills:
PICC lines
Chest tubes

✅ Requirements
License:
OH license preferred
Will consider candidates needing APRN application (not fully unlicensed)
⏱️ Credentialing
~3 months

• 26 weeks with option to extend
• No on call
