Neonatal NP needed in Columbus OH - willing to license if compact!

Job description

✅ Work details:
Setting: NICU Level 4, highest acuity (must have Level IV experience!)
Reason for coverage: LOA of perm staff/Flu Season
# of Providers Needed: 2 Full Time Locums or equivalent
Start Date: October 2026
Length of Contract: 6 months
Schedule/Shift Times/Coverage needed:
• 3 12 hours Rotating shifts, Full Time (weekly)
• Shift times are 6a-6:30p/6p-630a (open to straight nights if preferred)
• Candidates must be able to offer at least a minimum of 8 shifts/month.

Skillset required:
• Will take NPs or PAs. Board Certification required.
• Will also consider an Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for one of the two open needs, to work days only on BDU part of the NICU (See separate job ID in Nova if submitting for this)
• Must have at least 2 years of Level IV Neonatology experience.
• Epic experience required
• Special procedures: Intubations, Chest Tubes, and Arterial Line placement required
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Patient load: 10-12 ACD
EMR: Epic
Hospital Bed size: 673
Support staff: Dedicated transport team. 8-9 APPs on during day shift, 3 at night

Credentialing timeframe: 6-8 weeks
