Job description

📅 Assignment Details
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week
Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Minimum Commitment: 8 shifts/month
Coverage Need: 2 full-time locums (or equivalent)
🏥 Practice Setting
Setting: Level IV NICU
EMR: Epic
🩺 Work Details
Patient Load: 10–12 patients/day

Responsibilities Include:
Managing high-acuity neonatal patients
Trach and ventilator management
Performing procedures and critical care support
Documentation and care coordination

Support Staff:
Dedicated transport team
8–9 APPs on during day shift
3 APPs on at night

Required Skills:
Intubations
Arterial puncture
Ventilator and trach management
✅ Requirements
Provider Type:
Neonatal NP/PA (board certified in Neonatology) OR
Acute Care Certified PNP (CPNP-AC)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years recent experience
PICU and/or Level IV NICU experience required
Certifications:
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NRP
License:
OH license preferred
Will consider RN compact candidates
DEA: Required

6–8 weeks

• 13 weeks with option to extend
• No on call
