Neonatal APP opportunity available in Columbus, Ohio
Start Date: October 2026
Assignment Length: Up to 12 months, with a unit expansion planned for April 2027
Schedule: Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts with rotating days and nights; 50/50 day and night coverage
Additional Details:

Level III NICU at a high-delivery-volume hospital
Lower-acuity NICU compared to Level IV main-campus NICUs
48-bed unit with an average patient load of 12–15 patients per shift
APPs do not author daily progress notes, helping balance the higher patient volume
Must have at least 1 year of neonatology experience
Required procedures include intubation, umbilical line placement, and thoracentesis
Lumbar puncture experience preferred
Open to NNPs and PAs with neonatology experience
In-house attendings and residents available; no fellows
No surgery or transport services
EMR: EPIC
Providers will receive dual privileges through both health systems
RN compact licensure will be considered
DEA required

Licensure: Active Ohio license preferred; RN compact licensure will be considered
Requirements: NNP or PA with at least 1 year of neonatology experience
DEA: Required
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days total; approximately 3 months for one health system and 2 months for the other
