Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative team of Neonatologists providing high-quality care across four Level II NICUs in the Oklahoma City Metro area. This position offers an exceptional work-life balance with a structured rotation designed for professional autonomy and clinical excellence.
Clinical Responsibilities
Collaborative Care: Partner with Neonatologists to deliver comprehensive neonatal and newborn care.
Coverage: Provide clinical services across four regional Level II NICU facilities.
Newborn Nursery: Opportunities are available for additional 4-hour shifts covering the newborn nursery at select locations.
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
Monthly Rotation: 12 shifts per month, providing approximately 18 days off per month.
Shift Structure: A combination of 12-hour and 24-hour shifts (includes both in-house and on-call coverage).
On-Call: Remote on-call availability from home during off-shifts.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (minimum).
Certification: Current National Specialty Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP).
Licensure: Active Oklahoma APRN license (or willingness to obtain) and DEA registration (required prior to start date).
Experience: New Fellows are highly encouraged to apply.
Residency: Must reside within the immediate local area or be willing to relocate.
Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Visa sponsorship is not available). Locums candidates will not be considered.
