Neonatal Nurse Practitioner – Richmond, VA
Start: ASAP (upon credentialing)
Contract Length: 6 months
Coverage: Full-time
Shifts: 10-hour day shifts or 15-hour night shifts
Schedule: Days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
No 24-hour shifts

Practice Details:
• Academic hospital setting
• Level IV NICU managing infants with a wide range of gestational ages and complex diagnoses
• 7–8 patients per day
• EMR: Epic (training available, experience preferred)
• L&D delivery attendance required
• Newborn nursery consults required (no prenatal consults)

Procedures & Skills Required:
• Umbilical vein and artery catheterization
• Thoracentesis
• Lumbar puncture
• Endotracheal intubation
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level IV NICU experience required

Requirements:
• Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
• Active Virginia license (or compact if applicable)
• DEA required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP required

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced NNP seeking full-time coverage in a high-acuity academic Level IV NICU in Richmond.
