Neonatal Nurse Practitioner needed in Richmond, VA

Job description

Opportunity Details:
• Location: Richmond, VA
• Start Date: ASAP (pending credentialing)
• Contract Length: 6 months
• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts or 15-hour night shifts
• Coverage includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• No call required
• Full-time coverage needed

Work Details:
• Level IV NICU – Academic hospital setting
• Average 7–8 patients per day
• EMR: EPIC (training available; experience preferred)
• Special Procedures:

Umbilical vein and artery catheterization

Thoracentesis

Lumbar puncture

Endotracheal intubation
• Must have at least 2 years of recent Level IV NICU experience
• L&D delivery experience required
• Newborn nursery consults required (no prenatal consults)

Requirements:
• Board Certification – Required
• Active Virginia license – Required
• DEA – Required
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification required
