Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Opportunity – West Virginia

Start Date: ASAP
Length: 26-week assignment with the option to extend

Schedule: Minimum commitment of 6–8 shifts per month through January 2027

Shifts: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM start) and 24-hour shifts with no call

Practice Details:
• Level III NICU with a 36-bed unit featuring 20 single-family rooms and 8 double rooms
• Care for neonates from 23 weeks gestation through term, including pediatric surgery patients
• Therapeutic Hypothermia program for HIE patients
• Work alongside Neonatologists, NNPs, NICU Fellows, Residents, and Social Workers
• Daily multidisciplinary rounds with independent patient assessments, documentation, TPN and feeding calculations
• Procedures include intubations, UAC/UVC/PICC placement, lumbar punctures, pleural air removal, and arterial sticks
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements:
• Active West Virginia RN License or Compact RN License with eligibility for West Virginia Advanced Practice Recognition
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification
• NRP and CPR certifications
• 3–5+ years of NNP experience
• Credentialing timeframe: Up to 60 days
