New Neonatal Nurse Practitioner needed in West Virginia with Aya Locums

New Aya Locums Opportunity you Don’t want to Miss! We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing assignment in Huntington, WV. Please see below for details!

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 12 and 24 hour shifts (12 hour shifts would be 7PM shifts); No Call
Practice Setting: Hospital (Level III NICU, 36-bed unit)
Assignment Details: Patient Population: Neonates (23 weeks gestation through term), Support Team: Neonatologists, NNPs, NICU Fellows, Residents, Social Workers, EMR: Cerner
Responsibilities:
• Manage NICU patients, typically up to 10 per shift (higher with increased census/acuity)
• Daily assessments, documentation, TPN and feeding calculations
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds
• Perform procedures including:
• Intubations
• UAC/UVC/PICC line placement
• Lumbar punctures
• Pleural air removal
• Arterial sticks
• Care for complex neonatal and pediatric surgery patients
• Therapeutic hypothermia program (no ECMO or cardiac surgery; stabilize and transfer those patients)
License: Active WV License Required *Willing to License*
Requirements: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification, NRP and CPR certifications, 3–5+ years of NNP experience
Credentialing: Up to 60 days
Travel: Airfare, lodging, and car rental will be covered
