Locum Physician – 𝐍𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈𝐕 𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐔)

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
Opportunity for coverage needs for a Neonatologist in Long Beach, California. This role involves providing in-house coverage within a Level IV NICU setting, managing neonatal patients in a community hospital environment.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Provide in-house neonatology coverage.
- Manage neonatal patients with an average daily census of approximately 14 babies.
- Perform clinical care within a Level IV NICU.
- Participate in day, night, and 24-hour combined shifts.
- Intubation procedures handled by neonatologist (no NP/PA support for this).
- Collaborate within a 24-hour in-house call coverage model.
- Follow established protocols and clinical guidelines.

Shift Structure

𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐬:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Day Shift)
- Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 AM (Night Shift)
- Monday–Friday: 24-hour shift options (combining day and night)

𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐬:
- Friday 3:00 PM – Saturday 9:00 AM
- Saturday 9:00 AM – Sunday 9:00 AM
- Sunday 9:00 AM – Monday 9:00 AM
