Neonatologist needed in DC
Job description
Specialty: Neonatology (NICU)
Location: Washington, DC
Start Date: Mid-May to Mid-June (flexible, based on credentialing speed)
Contract Length: 2 months with potential to extend
Shift Details:
12-hour or 24-hour shifts available
Day and night coverage needed
No call required
Facility Details:
Level II NICU
6-bed unit
Must be comfortable working in a delivery room
Must be able to perform neonatal resuscitation
Support Details:
Flexible shift scheduling
No requirement to be NIB care certified
No call responsibilities
Requirements:
Active DC medical license (not open to licensing)
Board Certification in Neonatology required
NRP Certification required
Minimum of Level II NICU experience
Interview Process:
Interview scheduled within 24 hours of approved presentation
Interview conducted by Chief of Regional Based Specialties
Clinical questions will be asked
References contacted within 48 hours
Offer typically made within 72 business hours
