Specialty: Neonatology (NICU + Nursery)
Location: Washington, DC
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
Assignment Details
Coverage: Scheduled shifts, no call
Shift Options: 12-hour or 24-hour (days or nights)
Schedule Need: PRN; priority coverage during the last 2 weeks of December
Setting: Level II NICU & nursery
Census: 5–10 nursery patients, 10–15 NICU patients (6 beds)
Responsibilities:
NICU & nursery coverage
Attend deliveries
Resuscitation when needed
No call
Facility & Support
Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital
Support Staff: Onsite team support; deliveries and NICU shared care
Charting: Cerner EMR
Requirements
Board Certification: Neonatology – Required
Experience: At least 2 years, must have Level II NICU experience
License: Active DC license only (no IMLC)
Certifications: NRP, DEA, DC CSR, BLS
Credentialing: 45–60 days
