Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Pediatrics - Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Pediatrics - Critical Care Medicine
Job Details:
• Provide backup NICU MD on-call coverage
• Board certification required in relevant pediatric subspecialties
• Must maintain active Massachusetts medical license
• PALS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Fellowship training required (2 years)
• Pediatric skills preferred including ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive)
• Intubation capabilities for newborns and pediatric patients preferred
• Central line, arterial line, and PA catheter insertion preferred
• Procedural skills including lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis preferred
• Experience with ECMO and nitric oxide therapy preferred
• Chest tube insertion and needle pneumothorax decompression preferred
• X-ray and EKG interpretation skills preferred
• Neonatal care including Level II/III NICU experience preferred
• Attendance at C-sections and high-risk deliveries preferred
• Experience with exchange transfusions and hemodialysis catheter placement preferred
• Bronchoscopy with BAL capabilities preferred
• ICP evaluation and monitor placement preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
