Physician (MD) - Pediatrics - Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

Job Details:

  • Locum Tenens opportunity covering specific scheduled shifts in July, including onsite and on-call coverage
  • July 9: Onsite shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • July 10: Full 24-hour onsite coverage
  • July 14: Onsite shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call coverage
  • July 16: Full 24-hour onsite coverage
  • Board certification required; active Massachusetts medical license required
  • PALS certification required
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
  • Provide neonatal and perinatal medicine services including Level II and Level III NICU care
  • Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation including ETT, BiPAP, CPAP, and use of nitric oxide (iNO)
  • Perform and oversee central line, arterial line, and PA catheter insertion
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
  • Perform chest tube insertion, exchange transfusions, and hemodialysis catheter placement
  • Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues in neonatal patients
  • Attend all C-sections and high-risk C-sections as required
  • Perform circumcisions and provide newborn and pediatric intubation (ETT/NT)
  • Support ECMO services as needed
  • Interpret X-rays and EKGs as part of comprehensive patient management
  • Provide conscious and deep sedation as clinically indicated

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
