Neonatologist Needed in Durant, OK | 24-Hour Call | Ongoing | Travel Reimbursement Available

Job description

This is a call-only neonatology opportunity at an acute care hospital in Durant, Oklahoma, covering 24-hour on-call shifts on an ongoing assignment of approximately 13 weeks. Credentialing runs approximately 30 days, and travel reimbursement is available. The provider must be located 90 or more miles from the facility.

The setting is neonatal/pediatric, with a 15-bed unit seeing about 7 patients per day, supported by seven RNs. Required skills include intubation, umbilical venous catheter (UVC) and umbilical arterial catheter (UAC) placement, non-invasive and invasive ventilation management, and needle thoracostomy for pneumothorax. Documentation is in Cerner and Athena.

Candidates should be Board Certified in Neonatology, with an Oklahoma license, a DEA, and ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
