Locum Neonatologist | Call-Only NICU Coverage | Durant, OK | Ongoing Need, Fast Credentialing

Job description

Start: As soon as credentialed
Length: Ongoing
Coverage: Neonatal call coverage
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts; schedule TBD
Call: Call only (beeper)
Volume: About 7 patients per day; 15-bed unit
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital (Level III trauma)
Patient Population: Neonates and pediatrics
Procedures: Intubation, UVC, UAC, non-invasive and invasive ventilation management, needle decompression

• Neonatal inpatient and delivery coverage while on call
• Supported by 7 RNs
• Documentation in Cerner and Athena
• Travel covered within caps

Requirements
• Board Certified (Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship)
• Active Oklahoma license required
• DEA required
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, ATLS, and ABLS required
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Credentialing: approximately 30 days
