Facility:
This leading regional healthcare system provides advanced Level III NICU care as part of a comprehensive neonatal services program. The facility features a 35-bed Level III NICU with strong pediatric subspecialty support and serves as a regional referral center with robust academic support and collaborative multidisciplinary care.

Opportunity:
Physician - Neonatology

Job Details:
• Lead and provide comprehensive neonatal care within a 35-bed Level III NICU
• Manage a high-acuity neonatal population with an average daily census of 25-29 infants
• Support annual NICU admissions of approximately 370-400 and 3,400-3,900 deliveries per year
• Deliver advanced neonatal interventions including high-frequency ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia
• Participate in well-baby rounding two weeks per month in collaboration with the Family Medicine Residency Program
• Work within a structured neonatology team of 4 Neonatologists with rotating service coverage
• Participate in every-other-night call schedule during service weeks
• Collaborate with 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage for continuous patient care
• Engage with strong pediatric subspecialty support including Cardiology, Pediatric Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists
• Provide leadership in a collaborative, academic-supported clinical environment within a regional referral center
• Deliver family-centered neonatal care in a community-focused healthcare system
• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• South Carolina Medical License required or willingness to obtain
• Neonatology fellowship training required
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• DEA certification must be obtained prior to start
• This is a permanent, full-time position requiring local residency
