I have a client in TX who's seeking an experienced Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine physician for locum coverage. Here are the job details.

Lubbock, TX

Start Date: 06-01-2026

End Date: Ongoing

Coverage Type: Call Only

Schedule: We are looking for 1-2 providers to provide a minimum of 7 shifts a month of coverage. Please note the provider will be in house completing a 24hr shift (billed at the regular hourly rate). Shift times are 5am-5am, they can stay in the onsite call room. Looking at a start date in June, if privileging goes smoothly they could possibly

Work Details:
· Support staff: PA/NP: 2
· Patients per shift: 38
· Providers Requested: 2
· Trauma Level: 2
· EMR: Epic
· Skills required: Nursery Level II/NICU, Ventilation Mangement (Invasive (ETT), Non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP), Use of nitric Oxcide (iNO)), Chest tube insertion, Exchange transfusions, Eval & Mangement of acute volume/BP issues, Diagnostic/Thereapeutic taps (including those below) (Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis)

Practice Setting:
• Inpatient

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Certified
· License required: Licensed in TX only
· Minimum experience required:
· DEA: Yes
· Certifications required: NRP

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
