Aya Locums is seeking a Neonatologist to provide night coverage at a well-supported neonatal program in Virginia. This opportunity offers a structured schedule, collaborative team environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact during critical early-life care.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: July 2026
• Schedule: Scheduled shifts with no call
• Shift Type: Night shifts (16-hour)
• Shift Time: 16:00 – 08:00
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

Work Details
• Specialty: Neonatology
• Coverage: Level II NICU and Level II Nursery
• Patient Volume:
• Nursery: 8–10 patients daily
• Level II NICU: 2–4 patients daily
• Responsibilities:
• Attend deliveries
• Provide overnight neonatal care with neonatologist backup available from home
• Team Structure:
• 2 neonatologists onsite during the day
• 3 NNPs covering nights

• Inpatient – Level II NICU & Nursery

Requirements
• License: Active Virginia medical license required
• Board Certification: Neonatology (required)
• Minimum Experience: Prior experience in Level II NICU required
