Nephrologist Needed in Montana | Flexible Schedule | Competitive Pay

Job description

Specialty: Nephrology
Start Date: 60-90 day credentialing - there is no confirmed start date until we have a board date
Contract Length: 12-month base period with four 1-year option periods
Schedule: Days of the week TBD by candidate. This is only 3 consecutive days per month.
8a – 5p, with 1 hr lunch, 6-month commitment or longer requested due to time to onboard.

Skills Required:
* Provide outpatient nephrology care
* Provide emergency care to patients of all ages
* Evaluate disease processes, complications, medications, and treatment results
* Develop individualized treatment plans
* Coordinate patient care and provide guidance to healthcare team members
* Provide patient and staff education
* Respond to emergency codes
* Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
* Work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
* Demonstrate cultural awareness and respect for Native American and Alaska Native communities
* Complete inter-facility transports when needed
