Urgent Locum Tenens Hospitalist need in Hershey PA -

Hospitalist
• Start Month: As soon as credentialed
• Length of Assignment: Ongoing on as needed basis
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days
• BC requirements: BC IM only
• Census/PPD or PPS: Typically 13-15 patients per day, maximum 16
• Number of hospital beds: 450 beds
• Admissions: 1-2/day
• Procedures: No procedures required
• Physician shift times: 7a-7p (day shift, nonteaching)
• Shifts per month: 7 shifts/mo. 7 day block preferred
• Mid-level shifts times: 2 APCs work 7on/7off and are in house from 7a-5p (on pager 7a-7p). 1 APC works M-F 7a-3p
• Respond to Codes: Yes, on own patients
• Backup specialties: All (tertiary care center)
• Closed ICU
• Name of EMR system: Cerner/Powerchart
• Paid travel, lodging
