Pediatric Neurosurgery APP – Boston, MA

Position Overview

* Start Date: January

* Assignment Length: 13 weeks

* Setting: Hospital – Inpatient

* Patient Population: Pediatric

* EMR: Epic

* Credentialing: 90 days

Schedule

* 3 × 13-hour shifts per week

* 6:00 AM–7:00 PM

* No nights or holidays

* Full-time preferred; candidates available for a minimum of 2 weeks per month will be considered.

Clinical Responsibilities

* Begin the day rounding with residents and reviewing patient care plans.

* Evaluate patients requiring follow-up and enter appropriate orders.

* Manage patient care, orders, and discharges.

* Patient care only; no OR responsibilities.

* Preferred experience with removal of Hemovac and JP drains.

Requirements

* Board Certified in Neurosurgery

* Active Massachusetts license

* Minimum 1 year of neurosurgery experience

Additional Details

* Facility has a resident program that provides OR support.

* APPs will not participate in surgical procedures.
