Neurosurgery NP/PA Needed in Monterey, CA
Quick Highlights:
Start: March 2026
Length: 6 months (ongoing)
Schedule: Full-time, 5×8s, 4 weeks/month
Setting: 70% outpatient / 30% inpatient
EMR: Epic

Role Overview:
You’ll support both inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery patients across pre-, intra-, and post-op care. Outpatient work includes MA, scribe, and surgery scheduler support; inpatient work is more independent alongside the surgeon. Procedures include drain removal, wound care, and suture/staple removal.

Requirements:
NP (ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC) or PA (Master’s in PA Studies)
Active CA license (licensing available for PAs)
DEA (CA, Schedule II/II-N)
BLS & ACLS
Neurosurgery experience preferred (3–5 years ideal; 1+ year required)
Credentialing: ASAP
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
