This is Dominique Hodges with Aya Locums. I am representing a hospital in San Francisco, CA that needs Neurosurgery NP/PA coverage. Assignment Details:
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Contract Length: 20 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts weekly plus 8-hour Saturday shift every other week (no call)
• Practice Setting: Academic inpatient neurosurgery service
• Case Mix: Inpatient neurosurgery post-operative spine patients; discharge planning, care coordination, and post-op management only (no OR, no new consults, no call)
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• State License: California (required for NP; PA may be considered needing licensure)
• Certifications: NP must hold ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC (PA requires master’s in Physician Assistant Studies), BLS required, CA DEA with Schedule II/II-N
• Experience: Minimum 2 years inpatient experience preferred, ideally academic spine service experience managing high-volume post-op spine patients
